DAVID FORREST'S
Sanctum

The Card through Window plot is well known from magician's to laymen, David Forrest's Sanctum is a miniaturised version of the CTW effect. Here's the official spam:

A CARD IS CHOSEN.
A CORNER IS TORN OFF.
THE CORNER PENETRATES THE CELLOPHANE.
OFF THE CARD CASE.

The clever gimmicks contained within will allow you to cause one torn quarter from a chosen card to penetrate the cellophane on your card case. The cellophane is shown to be free from tears or slits & there is clearly nothing underneath. A card is selected & a corner is torn off & placed on top of the deck. The case is slowly passed over the torn corner where upon it disappears. The case is slowly turned over. There, under a large black 'X' lies the torn quarter! The case, complete with cellophane & corner still in place, is immediately handed out for examination.

Priced: £10.00/around $16.50.
Booklet & Bicycle Gimmicks Included Red/Blue.

EFFECT: As above

PREPARATION: You will need to make an easy one time prep, that you'll already own. Takes about 2mins, as said one time only prep.

You'll receive a booklet that folds out into a poster style sheet of info, with pictures to guide you. The quality of the booklet is excellent with the pictures guiding you in steps, everything is very easy to follow. David also gives you his presentation while teaching the effect, the effect is not hard to perform it's practically self-working. You will need to practise the main sleight it's more of a knack, but once mastered the penetration looks very convincing. David goes over a few things towards the end of the instructions, tips really by the time you've read through the booklet you'll will have no questions about the effect.
The effect itself is very visually & very convincing, that convincing I've had spectators look twice for slits in the cellophane. & the best part of this routine is everything is examinable, meaning the card case which is the first & only thing the spectators really what to examine. So any clean-up is done in seconds, the gimmick is very devious it's excellent. The effect is cheap for how well it plays-out & easily could of been sold for alot more then the asking price.

If you like this effect check-out 'Glazed & Confused' from David Forrest's 'Trickery' DVD Set. Another very visually cellophane penetration with a full card, thats looks impossible this is a stunner you've got to see it.

An Easy 10/10
