The Smith Back No. 2's are not made by DnD, but rather by The Conjuring Arts Research Center.
They are using old Erdnase style faces on the cards, sort of like Arrco's. So they are smaller, but IMO look a lot cooler than just regular Bike faces.
I just used DnD because I know there is more than 1 type and I was refering the the one DnD sells
The one D&D sells is the 2nd edition of the Conjuring Arts Smith Backs. It is not Unique to DnD. The Smiths are an excellent card. I am about to Update the review. Should be a long lasting card. I've never used the Brown Wynns but I believe they use the same stock as the Wynns. Bee Casino grade. Anyways, IMO you will not find a card at that quality for a cheaper price. $4.00! They are giving them away! The pips are a little bit smaller and the pictures of the court cards are a little bit bigger. All the kings have the face of some magician associated with CA. Hollingsworth, Kalush, Blaine, and the clubs is a guy I have yet to identify>...but it is definitely different than the standard King of Clubs.
This is their latest edition:

The smith backs are the 2nd edition of the Smith backs and these are the second edition of the Acorn Backs.
All the faces and pip designs are the same as far as I know...at least the 1st edition acorn and the 2nd edition Smiths. I never tried the 1st edition smiths so I really don't know. All I can say is that if you can get them before they hit the secondary market(they tend to go pretty fast) do so. The quality in the cards is on par with T-11 and Ellusionist decks and these are only $4.00/pack. Any other questions feel free to ask and I'll help all I can.
Cheers
