hey guys , im thinking of purchasing a expanded coin shell and wanted to get some background info on it ? such what is the difference between and expanded shell and normal shell , is there any cons getting it eg. a coin getting stuck inside. Please give more information about it . The shell im looking at will cost $65

An expanded shell is exactly that - say, a half dollar expanded shell will be in the form of a half dollar, but slightly expanded, so as to fit a half dollar within. A normal shell will be exactly the size of a half dollar - i.e. it will fit smaller coins, but not an actual half dollar.
buy it from jamie school craft. They are the best of what they do about coin, but it's a bit pricecy. I swear after you buy it from them you will never use any other cheap shell anymore. and expanded shell is design to go on top of the other coin and camo it self so it's appears tobe only 1 coin but in reality there is a shell on top. regular shell wont achieve this, they wont fit on top of other coin except if the other coin is smaller.
I got mine from Ellusionist. it's very good quality, made my Roy Kuepper, who's very good at that. I got a US half dollar for $35 - not a bad deal.

cause I bought various shells in the past and none of them cover the whole coin from all sides except for the Jemie School Craft.
