Definitely no pop ups on our end - no way. We maintain our own servers and utilize only premium providers for all technical operations. We hold nothing in higher priority than the security of our servers and we pay an enormous premium to make sure that is upheld. Our primary servers are hosted at Firehost, with all premium content routed through Content Delivery Networks that are geographically distributed via hundreds of Limelight servers worldwide.

Most likely, this is a case of your mobile provider adding pop-ups on their end as a way to make an additional buck from users using the web on their mobile phone. I would be unbelievably annoyed (and/or switch to an iPhone!).
