gaff cards

Ok I think what I'm talking about is gaff cards but I might be wrong. So for Christmas I got a deck of cards and it came with a few cards that were duplicates or had no front design but the back design on both sides and I'm just wondering what they are meant for and if there are any simple tricks that I could do with them.

Yes, those are technically "gaff cards" though most people refer to them as "blank face", "Double-Backer", "Double face" etc; because "gaff" describe something more out of the ordinary so to say.
As far as tricks. Youtube is a wonderful resource for learning. But I suggest books always. There is a favorite of mine in Bob Longe's "Giant book of card tricks" using a double faced card. It's near the back.
