How do I spread cards on a table without making a gap?

There are many things you can do
A) Use a soft surface. Try spreading it on a card mat table cloth, blanket, carpet, even a folded shirt.
B) Dribble the cards down one by one instead of spreading them. This wont be as clean, but it is effective
C) Use the pinky of the off hand to just get the spread started. This way, the cards already begin to spread prior to the even hitting the surface
D) PRACTICE! After a tone of practice, you can ribbon spread any deck anywhere
