How do you write a good critical review?

God that video was horrible.

Anyways you want to focus on details. Camera shots clarity of sound and video, if there was contenuity if the film conveyed a message, what that message was, what your take on the message is. Did the content justify the length, did everything in the video make sense to the audience, if it didn't was it eventually explained, was the characters featured feel real and three demensional, were their actions and motovations justified by the story, was the dialog believable and natural not forced, did the characters all respond and behave in a way that would be expected of them. Was the sound quality good, did it drop out or pop for any reason, did the score successfully match and convey the overall mood of the film, etc.

Hope that helps

That was the most boring and pretentious drivel I've ever seen.

Seem like your professor is setting you up for failure with this assignment.
