Seen someone perform this on tv once, same effect, but no dice involved, it was a free choice... Where can i find this?

Original was in Tom Stone's October 2009 Genii column on p.20 and then again in Tom's book Maelstorm. Both use the dice. I'm unaware of any published versions without the dice. If you want to do it without dice, you will have to come up with your own method.

Mickael - you saw Justin Willman perform this on his Magic For Humans Show and yes, he does not use a die. This is one of his signature effects - built just for him that he does not sell. (reminds me of something Blake Vogt would make)
