Magic Related Term Paper?

I was thinking to write in my term paper a topic about magic like increasing it's aweraness or biography of famous magicians like houdini or dai vernon or blaine,

any other ideas guys?, Have any of you done something similar i can see?

Perhaps something along the lines of "the perception of magic and mentalism in modern society"? I separate mentalism and magic because I believe that they are percieved in completely different lights by the public. Even if they don't really know the difference...

You could do something about life lessons that come from learning magic. such as communication skills, discipline and such.
