Hi guys.
I'll be visiting Japan for about a month, staying in Osaka for some of my trip, and in Tokyo for some.
Does anyone know of any stores in and around those areas?

Thanks a lot.

The French Drop (home of Ponta the Smith) is based in Osaka, but it isn't really a store, it is a magic bar. In Tokyo, you can go to Magic Land, the last real Magic shop that is still running well. It is close to Kayabachou station on the Hibiya or Tozai Subway Line. Other than that, you can go to the small "magic goods corners" in the Tokyu Hands Department Stores, found in Shibuya, Shinjuku, and Ikebukuro. The ones in Ikebukuro and Shibuya often have magicians in there doing some close-up work for the customers.

The Tokyu Hands are standard department stores that almost EVERYONE would know, provided you ask them after getting off at the correct station.

Magic Land is hidden on a side street, I believe on the third floor of an old building, in the middle of a business area (not commercial):

Go out exit number 1 or 2 from the Hibiya Line platform (not the Tozai Line), at Kayabachou station.

I’m an American living in Japan so my next trip to Tokyo I will definitely visit
