Make vs. Buy Loops and why

Well,

I've had the same chain of thought you likely went through...

the spool is the same price as 5 loops, can't be that hard.

I've bought the 5 packs of loops ever since.



I'm sure there is a knack to it but even with the many loops DVDs I own, my fingers just seem to large to get consistent knots in the IET.

More frustrating than it seemed worthwhile.

Tie my own. Not only for the reasons above, but I use them so infrequently it's not unusual for me to lose them between the times that I'll need them. It's quite easy to tie them if you use the Million Dollar Knot method. I'm still working through the first 400ft spool I purchased about 8 years ago?

I buy mine for convenience and I have The Inner Circle so they are always on me.

I want to learn to tie my own because of what Chris said above, I use it so infrequently that I am sure a spool would last me some time!
