My first Distortion performance...

Well, today was my first performance of distortion... and it killed.

One of the platoon sergeants in my company is always wanting me to do magic for him, and typically I do.. its been getting a bit stale lately though due to 7 months of doing at least one trick a day for him... but about 3 days ago I got Distortion.. practiced a few hours a day on it.. and when he asked, I delivered.

As I stood there, shaking the 4 of diamonds, his eyes actually crossed and he shook his head over and over again. Then he totally lost his mind when I handed out the 4 and the 6 for inspection. He is firmly convinced that I've sold my soul to the devil.

All in all a fantastic reaction to a fantastic performance. It gave me a feeling I haven't had in a while.

Yeah man good for you! Just keep building off your performances and try different things, see if you can get them to stutter, or not even speak at all in such amazement, keep working and pushing the patter and presentation of the effect till you get someone to soil themselves or talking to walls or something.
