Dear brother and sister from the Magic Industry,

This morning, I re-openned my Expert at the Card Table since I wanted to brush up my card cheat moves, and shortly got stuck on the bottom dealing.
Realizing that I didn't execute bottom dealing properly, I try to learn it all over again.
And I came into a problem:
I got quite short fingers and "sausage hands", if you might call it that way.
Resting the second finger's first joint on one edge and first finger's second joint on the other hand seems impossible to execute for me.

Could you give me an advice or tips to do this particular grip?

Thank you for your attention.
Sincerely,

SinCera

Christopher is definitely correct, don't worry about sticking with his instruction word for word, as its widely accepted that the bottom dealing technique in there is unnecessarily difficult. Do it how it feels most natural to you.

Gene Maze "Art of bottom dealing" nice grip for small hands. I think Madison uses sort of the same grip. At list looks like it on his videos.
Main thing for bottom deal is to make it look like your normal deal. What grip - its entirely up to you.
