calm down dude!

For actual fan powder you put some of the powder in a plastic bag along with the deck, seal the bag and shake. After most of the deck is covered just shuffle and fan a bunch to get it worked in. Then your cards will be nice and smooth.

Thanks, Sorry for the overreaction. I am do that sometimes.

PS: And with babypowder it goes also?

ok dude if i were a beginner heres what I would do:

1. Learn.
2. Practice & Perfect.
3. Perform.
4. Refine/Edit.
5. Learn some more.

I would have included more but you only wanted 5...

Let me just say that I am currently the only person that endorses fanning cream; nevertheless, it works very well.

OMG no.

Baby powder is a terrible idea. Sweat from your hands will cause the cards to clump terribly. Do NOT use baby powder.

oh sorry i've used it before and haven't had any problems. But fanning powder would definetly be a first choice though because it is designed to improve.....well...fans.
