It's funny, I was actually studying Marlo Without Tears yesterday to learn how he sets up the deck right under people's eyes. As for me, I've been working as a magician this past year without any set-up at all. ACR work and here, there, and everywhere work too. Locations work as well. I'd suggest getting some Jay Sankey dvds and books. He is in my opinion the guy to go to for this type of magic.

Everything I do is minimal set up, pure sleight of hand.

Madison has a good bit of work with this - I use a few of his things from Psycho and I like the way he does various false deals.

I do a version of Dermioptic Vision with methods from Hector Chadwick and Spidey mixed in to by my ideal version. I also do a slight variation on Asi Wind's Double Exposure (Very slight variation).

If you know sleights then this is just a matter of coming up with an idea of something to do, and then figure out the best sleights to use to do that.
