rough fluid is for making gimmick. I have alot of fun using it to make my own gimmick. The rough fluid is mainly to make rough and smooth tricks.
If you want to buy this product, I recommend you get the spray one, not the old school that you use the brush and spread them on the card or any object that you wish it to be on.

Testor's Dull Cote Spray from a hobby shop will do the same trick as will certain brands of hair spray.
Yes, you can use it to make gimmicks such as the invisible deck, but I suggest saving yourself some money and buying a can of Testors Dullcote, it is the exact same stuff as the roughing fluid that most companys sell, I found it in with the spray paints in the model cars section at my local hobby lobby. There are a few other things that work well for it, but not that I can remember the names of.
