Royal Road DVD Set.

ok so i posted a thread a couple of weeks ago as i'm a newbie and i got some good advice for beginning starting points. Well i just recently got a gift and it was the DVD set of the Royal Road to Magic. There is a ton of stuff on these dvds, but holy crap is it dry. Its good information but i find myself gettinga little bored with the guy instructing. Anyone else feel like it, or am i just b*tching too much and just deal with it. lol...Just looking for opinions on this DVD set, not trying to start any drama or arguments...

The DVD set is, material wise, a fantastic addition to pretty much one of the most respected, oldest and best introductions to magic available. That said, I don't blame you for finding the guy dry. Do try to look past it though because it really is one of the best ways to start in magic out there, and you'll be a LOT better off with it in the long run. Keep it up mate

And if you're still finding yourself counting the shapes on the background, buy the book

Royal Road is the dullest book on the subject I have read, but it is filled with good info. It's very much a straight forward book for learning.
