Hey guys! Hope you're all having a great weekend! Over the past few days, we've started teasing our newest release coming out THIS FRIDAY April 14th - BASQUIAT Playing Cards. We're extremely excited about this one - it's totally different from anything you have ever seen from us before.

To celebrate the upcoming release, we thought it would be a great idea to see the artistic side of our community. Basquiat was not only known for his paintings but his sketches, so the challenge this week is to make a piece of art about something that means a lot to you. It could be a quick tiny painting, a quick sketch with a pen or pencil, anything! All we ask is that you include the date of the contest somewhere in your submission.

Post your piece of art in response to THIS forum thread by no later than 11:00pm EST tomorrow night, Sunday, April 9th. Once time is up, we will choose a submission at random to take home the prize of 1,000 Elite Points and 6 Decks of BASQUIAT Playing Cards once they officially release this Friday.

Good luck!

Great timing, I finished this piece today. The subject in the painting isn't anyone important to me but, the painting itself is. I've been in a rut with art for a while and painting this painting was the most fun I've had with a painting in quite a few years. Sorry, I couldn't get better lighting but Good Luck everyone! :)

I'll explain what I wanted to capture.

Basquiat often used the yellow color, so I've used that color. I've drawn a piece of street art imitating the texture of a wall. And as always a touch of Theory11, as a hat I have taken the idea of the old T11 logo (attached screenshot of the logo). Two vertical bars "11" and a horizontal bar crossing them as "T11". In addition, yellow is also present in the old logo.

I hope you like it.

My piece of art is a game that I'm developing.
I'm trying to make a world that exist only in my imagination to become "experienciable", and maybe make it almost feel real, this is a game for Virtual Reality.
It's not a commercial game, I'm making it just to let my creativity flow, to be able to play it, and to become better at making games, so it really is a piece of my art.
Today I was already going to make a new update and add a driveable GT R34 Skyline, a car that I'll probably never get to ride in real life, but in this "reality" I can even build it myself, so I took the opportunity to add a Monarchs card with the date to enter this contest!
I attached some images and a
link for a little gameplay clip

Here's a sketch of common merganser with her chicks in the morning calm water. The merganser always lay eggs near our summer cottage and couple of times even in our outhouse (bathroom)! I always enjoy watching them growing up and swimming next to our summer cottage.

I made this digital painting this morning because last night I couldn't stop thinking about Linkin Park's Meteora 20th Anniversary videos they uploaded a couple days before, so...

I very much enjoy sculpting forks. I first started after Morgan Strebbler introduced me to the concept of bending forks as an art form. It's incredibly meaningful to me as a magician and mentalist obviously, demonstrating how stress and pressure can turn the mundane into a work of art.
