Hi, I am working on Skater Cut+ Kick Flip. Whenever I try to do the kick flip, when the packet is kicked, it falls out. But, when I hold the packet being kicked tighter, it does not spin at all. Any tips?v

You might be trying to flick too hard with the ring finger when doing the kickflip, causing the packet to fly out with a more loosened grip. It sounds like the fix would be to have a tighter grip on the corners of the packets to prevent it from falling out, but that causes it to not really spin at all. My tip would be to have a smooth flick with the ring finger and not too hard or fast, just enough to get it spinning. Combine this with just enough pressure between the fingers holding the corners of the spinning packet to keep it in place, and you should see more success. I get about 2 full rotations with every kickflip every time i do this cut with those tips in mind, so it just takes more practice to dial in what feels right for you and what gets you the best result.
