Smoke gimmick nearly impossible to open

I don't know where to take my issue. I've contacted t11 support but the tip didn't help me open it. For everyone that bought smoke, how did you open the gimmick? The black and gray part of the gimmick is impossible to remove. My entire family tried it for 4 hours before giving up

Bend, bend, bend. The gimmicks always start off super tight (mine was originally really hard to open too!). Bend the gimmick where the grey and black parts meet. Eventually it will start to separate. As this happens, it will break in a bit more for the next time. Mine has been opened many, many times now, and it can open it one handed without any trouble, it gets easier and easier every time.
