Soft Coins Dillema...

Hey guys i have been trying to get some "soft coins" because im starting lots of coin work.... but i went to coin shop that has all different kinds of coins he said he has never herd the term soft coins... i was told they were just used so much that they weren't as loud as other coins from people. So do i go in and ask do you have any super old used to no extent coins? have you guys had this problem. i need soft coins just how.....

Soft coins is a Magician term.
They call them the following at coin shops:
Junk Coins
Junk Silver
Slickers
Slicks

They normally melt down these types of coins for the silver and have a box of them for sale.

you can also refer to them as worn coins with heavy patina or color. And yes they are usually cheaper than mint condition ones so check bins or large groups rather than individually sold. I have an amazing shop near me that sells all kinds of coins and i get perfect magic coins cheap. If anyone needs some barber's or morgans let me know and i can get perfectly matching coins for anyone for a good price.
