i noticed in a thread on D&D.com that there are 3 generations of studs

http://dananddave.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2968&highlight=stud

i bought 2 decks off of ebay a few weeks ago(used) , and the box was different (white on the bottom, has "for particular players" encryption on the bottom, and there are different changes on the box)

then i bough 6 decks from another seller, (new condition) and the box was similar, they were the old ones, but i cant tell which ones are the "older of the old ones"(as in harder to find")

these dont have white on the top or bottom, and dont say "for particular players"

these do have the white, and have the encryption on the bottom, but dont try to bid, she is deleting the listing for a private purchase(me)

notice these small differences?

if anyone could help me clear this up, i would appreciate it.

Actually there are only two... well thats what they say, but I know I've seen more than 3.
If you read more on the post your answer is right there. The old ones have lighter backs and the new one have darker backs.
