Yeah, I'm reviewing... the bat. Never heard of it? (which I doubt its not the newest thing in the world) well, the bat is like a raven with many more applications. This genius little device is great for vanishes, transpositions, penetrations, and of course, PK effects!!!!! here's the review:
Price: 20 bucks, (as opposed to m5 for 100????!!!) not bad
In the box: The bat (no duh) 2 rings for the kinetic rings effect, and a special penny compatible with the bat. also included are instructions with pictures and all.
Size: I'd say less than an inch in diameter. much smaller than expected, which is good for hiding
Strength: not as strong as an M5 is (from what I've seen the m5 do) but I've had to yank my wrist off of a chair when I was at a restaraunt (lol) so it's not some stupid little week thing. It'll move something from under a table or when a coin is in a spectator's hands.
Uses: Alright, here are tricks I MYSELF perform with this little guy:
Kinetic rings (two non magnetic rings all a sudden stick together)
Penny vanish (or any vanish)
Moving and flipping a bottle cap in specs hand (not really an official name lol)
other pk effects
coin through bottle, box etc.
stopping a watch
A BUNCH MORE!
Alright, I'll go into practicality, sleeves are good for this, but in the summer its hard to conceal it without too much suspicion, I hold it in a wrist strap, but to not cause all attention to go there I wear several rubber bands and wrist bands and stuff. You will also have it in your pocket or at your knee to move stuff at a table. For kinetic rings I personally find it easiest to be clipped on my belt (this isnt taught this way in instructions) and I bring my hand down next to it, and the rings will connect.
PK EFFECTS ARE SO MUCH FUN!!!!!! AAAAHHH!!! I say this because I've worked with invisible thread for a long time, and even though I'm much more comfortable with it than I was, theres still that "gotta make sure I'm in the right lighting, that they don't accidentally break it, blah blah" but with this, I can just be like "hey look hold this bottle cap for a sec, wait watch" HOLY CRAP IT FLIPS OVER! no strings attached let them fiddle with that all day. only thing you need to watch for now is to make it not look so (not saying it don't wanna risk exposure)-ey or they'll know your using a (once again not sayin it). less is more when doing pk with the bat. I'll just flip the cap once in they're hand and be done, or ill throw in a little extra and vanish the cap I just moved!!!
watch stopping: easy, building it up will add to it, say stuff about stopping time and junk. when the second hand stops, look at their face for a good laugh
Overall: freaking sweet, 9 out of 10. the vanishes alone should make you buy it, but then you get the practicality of no strings pk effects!!! WOOT
also, this doesn't come with everything you're eventually going to use, I'd pick up a pk bill, or a shimmed card, or a steel quarter, or something to go with it. 2 rings and a penny is enough to get started, but then you'll want to add more. i suggest a root beer cap they work great for vanishes and flip over the easiest for pk.
