The First Time This Happens..

Hello Guys!!

I wanted to share this with you since this is the first time this happens to me...

so...I like Coin Under Watch...a lot...and when I first learned it I practiced it very much...and after that I perfomed it...that was some time ago...

to be honest I do Coin Under Watch like no-body bussines...I mean I could do it 10 times without failing or anything...I just shake hands and that´s it!! I used to load 2 hours before show to some random spectator and then in middle show...BAM!!!...

anyway, yesterday I went to some bars and restaurants and everything was going great...then I tried CUW and there was an EPIC FAIL!! I didn´t bothered so much and I played like nothing...but the worst part is that after that I was caught like 3 times more...what the heck?!!! I double checked the handling and everything...but It seemed alright...I guess it was just bad luck


has this ever happened to you? you have a really great effect that you perform a lot and then suddenly you mess it up or forgot the set up or anything? wanna hear your thoughts

omg yes. it always sucks and i always kick myself. I used to do a triumph all the time then it fell out of my routine for awhile. I went back to it once when someone asked to see something real quick. Performed everything perfect, and presentation was on point, get to the reveal and all the cards are fixed to the same way..... all the cards... the selection wasn't face down, i had forgotten one little move and the whole thing went to hell... i looked like a tool.. but i had a good laugh and learned my lesson. always double think what your doing.

I really love Coin under watch.. It's an effect I will always use. I haven't been caught yet thank god. My favorite time using it was when there was when I was on a city bus I perform it sitting down while people were watching over my shoulder. It was a great experience.

I'd say ..even though I haven't used my advice yet...

to load the coin when performing a different effect. Like adjust their hand during two card transpo and do the load there.

bad day

today was a bad day for me to !
I did torn two well but the reaction wasn't so good (it was my first time with this effect)then i did autograph, i just learn it yesterday i mess up one part (i forgot one preparation) but the reactions was good, but i was distabilised so i stop everything, it was like i forgot everything i know

Oh god plz, yesterday i was doing some "mindreading" with some people at school using an impression board.Its basically having someone write something on a piece of paper clipped to a board. I started with a trick using a deck of cards and the board, one guy writes the name of a card, another guy finds it and that trick was a success. Few minutes later, I had someone write something, and when i got the board back to read the impression .... NOTHING ... i was like what the eff. So i spent no time, took out another piece of paper, clipped it to the board and told her to write something else saying "so that you know its was a completely free choice" ... she wrote something different, i got the board back, looked at it and STILL NOTHING. Now i was certain she was doing something wrong but didn't know what, she was using my board, my paper and my damn pen. So i just told her that i'm having a hard time picking on the signals and told her that i'll try again later ...

Then like half an hour later, some other guy joins the group, i gave him the board without any paper and ask him to write something, i was giving instructions while reaching for some paper in my bag. At the same time THAT girl who made me fail twice told him, not to apply pressure and put his finger beneath the spot where he was writing his word. At this point i was blown away, i was thinking to myself " is this girl a magician or something ". So i said, "*** i'm out of paper" and continued using my trusty deck of cards .........
