White Death - Criss takes the "Buried Alive" escape attempt to an unprecedented level, adding the extra weight and freezing temperatures of snow and ice. Shackled and placed in a transparent coffin before hundreds of fans and his concerned family and then buried in ice and snow, Criss must escape his bonds and dig himself out of impossible conditions before succumbing to hypothermia, suffocation or the possibility of the ground collapsing from the weight of the snow. Many who have attempted similar escapes have perished and Houdini refused to do it again after a near death experience, so Criss must rigorously train to be prepared, especially for these nearly impossible conditions.

Death Field - Criss and his team head to Edwards Air Force Base in California where they take "Mindfreak" to an explosive new level. Criss first learns about the dangers of mines and Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDS) and works with the K-9 bomb detection unit to learn about their remarkable abilities. Utilizing his own instincts, he finds a hidden canister of explosive material and prepares for his big challenge of the day: to safely traverse a field of live explosives, where the potential for serious injury, if not death, is extremely high.

Mass Levitation - Criss Angel has demonstrated he can levitate anywhere: he has levitated more than 500 feet above Las Vegas Boulevard in the light of the Luxor Hotel and Casino; he has floated from one building to another; and he has shown the ability up close and in person on public sidewalks and streets. Now, he takes levitation to new heights by levitating an entire Las Vegas crowd whose safety he is responsible for. This demonstration requires intense concentration; should he fail, some of his subjects will fall and face certain injury.

Terminal Velocity - Criss will attempt to accomplish the most impossible and mind-boggling transposition in "Mindfreak" history by teleporting himself from one location to another in one continuous camera shot. Defying Newton's Law of Gravity, Criss will stand nearly 250 feet above the Las Vegas strip, drop an object, and be at the bottom in time to catch it. Spectators at both the top and the bottom will serve as witnesses to Criss's instant disappearance and reappearance, and to further prove the success of the demonstration, Criss will have a random spectator sign his own body before beginning.

Death Crash - Surrounded by cameras at every angle and hundreds of spectators on the Las Vegas Strip Criss Angel will attempt his most death-defying illusion ever with "Death Crash." Five upright coffins - all equipped with interior cameras - will be placed on the Las Vegas Strip and one merciless, speeding a car will be employed to smash them to splinters. The driver and audience of thousands are unaware of which coffin Criss chooses to hide in and the audience will choose which coffin the driver and the car are to destroy each time. One bad choice and Criss will be crushed to death on impact inside a ready-made tomb.

OMG HOW CAN THEY LET HIM DO A NEW SEASON AFTER HE CHOPPED OFF THAT SPECTATOR'S HEAD WITH HIS GUILLOTINE EFFECT"?!?!?!??! its almost like it was all a staged trick that was made to look real, i cant believe they would let him continue, im soooo shocked, crazy.

I'm not quite sure why so many people hate on Criss. There are a lot (and I mean a lot) of much better magicians out there, however, I don't think Criss Angel is a terrible magician. It's never been proven that he uses camera cuts (though if he does, then I officially hate him)

I honestly really liked the first two seasons of Mindfreak. However watching seasons 3 and four were like being keelhauled in the mud by an ATV.

I'm hoping that this season Criss will return to a rock star magician instead of just some creepy guy with an ego problem. So, I will be watching.

I don't really think this poll is very good. I'm not going to watch this season because I don't really respect Criss Angle or his style of magic but I don't HATE him. I mean at least he takes the time to really perfect the tricks he does that are actually real.

I am going to watch it. I wouldn't call myself a fan, but I watch him. Some of the stuff he does looks pretty cool. I'm a David Blaine fan though. I like him way more than Criss.

I agree with Davey G...I mean c'mon guys lighten up a bit! Criss Angel is putting effort into furthering the art of magic and I respect him for that.

Exact same here. It's magic, I like magic, so I watch it. I really liked Supernatural and the first two seasons of Mindfreak. The New Orleans episode of season four was actually good, all of his effects were done with actual sleight of hand, and not stooges.

My main beef is with all these stunts. just doesn't float my boat. I'd at least enjoy it more if he did more close up stuff... whatever. When David Blaine does a stunt, which his specials seem to be focused around, the stunt itself feels like an event, and he throws in a lot of street magic with it, so that we're not sitting there the whole time watching a man stand on a pillar. to me, a David Blaine special feels almost like a superbowl. So anyway, I'll probably check it out regardless.

I disagree, I find David Blaine's stunts to be better presented, but they all seem to be quite boring. It's kind of like he's just trying to see how long he can stand using a catheter. Where as Criss' stunts always have some sort of element of danger.

Its just that entertainment factor. David is just alot more artistic. Criss is a rock star.
Look people, the man knows how to put on a f'ing show. You cant say he doesnt. Else,he wouldnt have the followers. Stooges in magic have been used before so I dont care about that.
The guy is ego-centric,yes. But dont say he isnt a good performer.
I respect the man, doesnt mean I like him.

It isn't too hard to figure out where he's used camera edits. But even so, there are videos all over YouTube from careful observers exposing his camera trick effects and breaking them down. Do a search and you'll find quite a bit.

Excellently said. Although, I think david's stunts do have an element of danger.

Vertigo: If he started to doze off, he would fall and die.

Frozen: If he touched the ice for more than a few seconds, he would get frost bite.

Drowned: Self explanatory.

He is also good at creating images to his stunts that will be long remembered by all.

I agree, he's not a great magician, but he really knows how to get the crowd into it. Don't try and tell me that during the building implosion episode you weren't hyped up when Criss yelled, "ARE...YOU...READY!!?!"

No magician has ever been this popular, I respect him for that. He's just as famous as most actors now.

I still prefer David Copperfield's version though:

It's not just about the camera edits it's also about the editing software he uses and how he pretty much steals anybody's material he likes.

Also he's pretty bad performer and a pretty lame person at that.

As Steerpike would say, "I'd rather listen to Carlos Mencia talk about the day he had at IHOP on Twitter than watch Criss Angel."

Drowned and Frozen were great stunts, and even though Vertigo did have an element of danger, it wasn't a good enough one. Most people don't realize how hard it is to stand in one place for that long, thus they can't relate to it. Don't believe me? Think that all laymen were impressed by it? In VH1's "I love the new Millennium" David Blaine's Vertigo stunt was mentioned, all of the comics totally slammed him, saying things like, "Nobody cares about how long you can stand still. Do the freakin magic tricks. That's what we like" and "He pees into bags for a living"

Haha, funny. but who doesn't get ripped on. I even get ripped on with magic performance haha. My closest friends always say I state the obvious and we joke about it everyday lol. Pressure is a good example. You examined the balloon right? It was normal right? It's your cellphone right? Not mine right? haha. So everyday they'll be like, "That is your Gatorade right? Orange right? Not Water right? you got it out of your fridge right? So it's yours right?" God love em'! :D
