i am having trouble with catching the card!!!! grrrr.
i also noticed that this doesnt require much force.

any help would be useful.

Just focus on flinging it first. Get that action nice and poppy (you know what I mean) and remember to get your fingers out of the way.

Once you get the shot smoothed out, it will make it easier to catch later on. Just remember to get one before the other.

In my opinion,it's not how you catch the card,but how you shot your card.If you can control the speed,the card flying track(some times it just seems too high or too low for your right hand to catch),then you can catch them easily.I spent a year to get this move down.
And a suggestion is make your right hand far from your left hand(at least more than half a metre,then focus on your left hand),then you are not let your right hand catch the card,but to aim at your right hand.

thnx 2 both of u now i got it.
i am right handed but i can only do it from my right hand, is that normal?
i can also only do one handed cut in my left hand. i kno its weird but still.

Yep. Ty's right. The fling is most important; the catching however is as simple as just catching something.

More of a coordination thing.
