Alright guys, here's the deal... a la Morgician, I will be posting a series of 9 reviews over the course of a few days, each one reviewing a seperate disc. Each video will hopefulyl be thorough enough. This first video is almost ten minutes long and, if the other 8 are anything like it, the review as a whole will be feature movie length!

I've posted my review of disc one. Please excuse my occasional verbal fumbles, I filmed this one pretty late at night. I'll be filming the others as time goes on, so keep your eyes peeled!

Here we go with Disc One:

A great honest review of True Astonishment, cannot wait to here your opinion on the other effects. I was thinking about getting T.A, but iam holding off for a bit until i've seen more reviews. I have seen one effect performed & it wasn't very impressive more then anything a bit confusing. With a honest answer do you think T.A is over priced?

Nice review. I disagree with you about Big Tiny though. Does it really need a point? It's magic. The deck is signed, shuffled by you, "shuffled" by the spectator, and then you get four packets of their name. It's magic. It's impossible. That's what counts. It's a great effect and people go nuts over it.

Let's say I had a loop on and I made a rubber band float. What's the point in that?

It's magic.

Other than that, I liked your review.

I mean, it doesn't make much sense in that it isn't clear what has happened... magic should be motivated. Floating a rubber band, understandable... you're attempting levitation. This... it isn't clear what you're trying to do.

This post reminds me of David Sleaze, Punk Magician. "F*CK YOU! IT'S MAGIC!" ;)

But yeah, I agree with you here, Doug. I've performed the effect for four people now, and every one of them was blown away. Especially my girlfriend...she adores the effect. :)
