TIP balancing card trick

I find it lacking. It's neat, sure, but it's just a card standing up. When I see that, I think to myself, "Ok. Now what?"

It looks alright. As a stand-alone trick I think, as Christopher says, it feels incomplete, so it would have to be incorporated into a longer routine. Either that, or maybe just performed as a quick offbeat moment, almost like a flourish, and not presented as a "trick". Given that, I think its value to a performer depends on how easy it is to get into and out of. If you can just introduce the cards, perform this effect then immediately move on to something else with the same deck then I think it could have its place.

I feel that you could just use loops or a hooked string...the hand holding the deck just looks so stiff to me.
