True Astonishments Trailer // Song?

So, just about now, I was wondering if it was you (Dana) who made the incredible song that accompanies the (dare I say amazing) trailer for True Astonishments by Paul Harris?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U2ibdZp1364

It starts off with some country guitar, then shifts gear and goes ballistically chill.

So, what i'm getting at is: Who made the song; and if it was the one and only Dana Hocking, is it going to be on your CD released on the first of the first?

In any case, if the answer is totally unknown because Dana wished not to bestow unbelieveble magic upon us - does anyone have any suggestions about similar songs (the kind of jazz techno ish) and/or artists & genres?

Thanks;
Gustav

I just can't wait for THIS song. If I could marry it, I would.

Hey G, I've got your answer. It's actually not Dana.

The following is a quote from a post Bro Gilbert made on the Cafe:

"First off there are two tracks used, the first country blues style riff while Paul is wandering in the opening scene is from John "Tenbear" Thompson and the rest of the beats are all from Marlins album. Both artists tracks are used heavily throughout the series and I am extremely grateful for their contributions, their music added so much to the overall feel of TA."

"To check out John "Tenbear" Thompson

To check out Marlin

Hope that helps. :)

hehe, I appreciate the help Phatmeat, but Bro already posted this in our forums too! :)

I saw it already, and have bought some of Marlin's songs through ITunes, the specific one used in the trailer being 'News Data'.

Thanks anyways!

I downloaded the whole Marlin album last week and it's great. Been blasting News Data and daydreaming of TA.
