ok last night I went performing at a game! I made alot of new friends! And I am even going horse back riding with 3 girls I meet yesterday 
so yeah for the most part it went ok..
Some things I need to work on I found out tonight
- Slightly krowd control
(LOL I have that book..) anyways I would start my performance routine
then when I was done I ended up like 5 feet away from wear I started.. I kinda just drifted.. I have been doing magic for at least 5 years now, and I know how this goes, but yeah, I am sure you all know what I am talking about...
I would do my ACR routine and everyone would be within inchs from the cards literally... I used a few jokes from read between the lines at this point I dont want to say them beacuse I guess that would count as revealing..
- anger management..
LOL JK, but seriously I got heckled a few times (I Hardly ever get heckled were I live and I am glad this happened so I know what it fells like in the big city..)
let me tell you the story.. ok this guy about 16 17 and I am 16. he keep screaming "FAAAKKKEEE" so a few of the teens watching would stick up for me (Is this a bad thing) and thay would tell him to stop. Mostly the girls would. (I am sure this made the kid feel bad)
and he stopped for like 10 seconds then started screaming fake magic fake magic!!!
and I dint see an adult was watching (needs to work on being aware)
so I used one of gazzos line that goes like this (Ill share this one I like it..
I was like "Hey do you know me? he reply's "No" I said "Not many people do that's way I carry one of these" *Flipped him off* this may have been wrong, if I was performing for a group of adults or kids, but I really felt I had common ground to do that, I needed to re gain control. and it worked, he stopped and left.. and everyone enjoyed the rest of my show.
the lady who seen after i was done, said "If it was me I would have punched him. And his mom will probably be talking to you in a little bit so be prepared to do that" she smiled and left...
so yeah..
that's when I got heckled...
I performed a few more effects for various crowds without any failure..
then let me tell you the part about the girls XD
So I seen my next door neighbor, and she thought I only did 1 trick and was just a guy who new a trick, because I showed her a trick in wal mart..
so I was like "He how are you? wana see something cool?"
she was like sure! so I did my cheat routine, or my four ace routine, because her husband is a big poker player.. and I was like "you up for a game sometime?" he said no. and then I pattered about other people cheat at casinos, they don't really cheat but because in casinos you are wildly distracted theirs alot of pickpockets. and I did clutch!
and then my neighbor introduced me to three girls who were staying with her for something, so I did David stones version of card to mouth folded, and one of them said "O.M.G." LOL... so yeah they were to scared to sign there name, and one the persons dad said only put your last name and he was serious so I dint know about that, I just went with it..
and yeah, they invited me to go horse back riding with them today XD
I did magic for a few other girls, I Mainly did clutch
but these girls were kinda slutty.. (Not the ones above but the ones I am about to tell you)
When they inspected my box for clutch, she like put her hand inside and Kinda moaned and said "That fells good" and I said "Thanks, my box liked it to" and they all laughed.. so I did clutch (In my pocket) and when they reached in there to make sure nothing was in there I said " Theirs candy in there.." (NO not my pocket highest up but my cargo pants pocket...)
so after the game, We went to a bone fire, and there was nothing to do, and I Heard someone say "Is Magical Mike hear?"
SO I pretended like I dint hear. and then I Showed my cheat routine + Clutch to all the teens, that lasted about 20 mins, so I did the same to the adults. I did clutch in this one guys shirt pocket, and he thought I was going to do it agine (I wasn't because he was on to me. or I thought he was then but he wasn't)
Because when I handed the deck out to be shuffled he slightly checked his shirt pocket he keep doing that, but when I pulled out my card I said "Ok you can stop checking now its right here. (I did it in my pants pocket).
they all freaked.. then I left home and told a few people oh wait!!! I Almost forgot!
when I was showing the girls some magic my sisters Ex boyfriend walked up to, and I was going to show him some magic beucse His mom asked me to...
and I asked him to pick a card, and he said in a hilbilly voice "Ima bout tierd of thes stupid card tricks" and I replied in a hillbilly voice "Just pick a gawsh darn card" everyone laughed.. he started really heckling me and I was looking for my sharpie and he started talking really fast. "What are you doing looking for da** sharpie for? what you don't need a sharpie This is my card theirs only one duhh stupid a**" and we were at a football game so I was Lik "Are you on crack? Slow down! did you go to that school over there?" He replied "Yeah" and I said "Sorry" he replied "Yeah" amd O replied "I know I am sorry"
everyone laughed... except him, so I did card to mouth he had a reaction but he was trying to hide it at the end. that's all
thats my performing style guys.. I know it may be difrent than some of yours but its how I perform... thanks for taking the time to read all this!
