one suggestion is to not tell what you're going to do. Dont say "I'm gonna take the cards out of the box." because the spectators will think "Why is he saying he's taking the card out of the box? I'll bet he's hiding something"
Just simply take the cards out. And put them on the table without saying anything. Then say "Watch..." then do what you do and then open your hand and say "The box jumps out of my pocket and switches places with the deck."
