I'm not much of a Linux user but I did some research for you and I found that these five were the most commonly named amongst the best and easiest to use on linux and these are in fact linux compatible. By studying the GUI's on each of these it seemed like Cinelerra would be something that is like what you would ge ton a pc or also LiVES.
