I'd have posted this on the cardistry forum, but waterfall's a pretty-magician-y move as well (and sue me, and also, I have no idea why but...people don't reply or remain active on the cardistry forum. Ironical when cardistry is so fun!).

So yes, tips to do the waterfall?

(I finally want to be able to do The Comet, but well, that's for later...)

If it’s the main action of bending the cards in. The beginning, try with a rather new deck. You just have to play with the different pressure points until you get it. You can watch different tutorials on the move. This concept is used in magic as well. It’s called the “fat deck” principle. Probably you can apply those into waterfall as well.
When you get that down, try loosening the pressure and releasing the cards one at a time. At first you don’t have to worry about the length of the waterfall. Just try to let go of single cards at a time. When you’ve done that, just try raising your hand and at the same time lowering the receiving hand. You should be able to do the move in no time.
