I just finished watching The Great Flydini act from The Tonight Show. Steve Martin and Johnny Carson are still two of my favs in show biz.

Anyway, I was reminded of a trick I saw on a television show many, many years ago. I was wondering if the forum help me to find the name of the trick, possibly the magician. I have used the search featrue with no success, so here we go.

The magician has a silk, peforms a few effects with it. Ultimately turning the silk into an egg. From there he shows the audience that the egg has a hole in it, and that it is wooden. "I beleive his punchline for that was wooden eggs come from wood ducks." From there the magician proceeds to remove the hole from the wooden egg, then crack the egg into a glass.

Ring any bells?

Thank you.

The effect is appropriately named "Silk to Egg." The silk is also vanished at the end of the effect before the egg is cracked.
