I personally like the centurions better. But the Wynn decks are not bad either. But it's really your choice.

Get some Centurions. In my opinion they surpass Wynns in quality and style. But of course, you could be a collector and get some Wynns before they go completely extinct.

The USPCC hasn't stopped making them. ;)

The red and the blue wynn's are being made. I would buy first edition centurions before they run out. They will be worth more if you save them.

I doubt it. Theory 11 wouldn't make a change to a deck if they didn't have to. With Guardians they didn't feel good so T11 remade them. I doubt a deck such as 1st edition Guardians will be worth anything if they are the same thing as the 2nd edition Guardians which are the same thing except they feel better.

Anyway, to stay on topic.... it's your opinion really. I haven't ever seen or felt Wynns or Centurions so I can't really say. I do like the Wynn's plainness look to them and I think they would look AWESOME for flourishing and are great as trick cards. Centurions look cool too, however, I feel that Wynns just surpass them.

i don't get it have they stopped making wynns or not?

They still make red and violet Wynns, however, they stopped making brown Wynns which is why they have rare release windows at T11 and they sell fast. The brown ones feel a little bit better than the red/violet Wynns. That's why people make a big deal out of them.

i doubt the first run of centurions was as small as the first run of guardians. thus I doubt there will be any distinction between this and later versions. I haven't gotten mine yet, but when i do, I'll be able to give some more info.

also, the reason any distinction was really made was probably because they changed the properties of the cards.

as for the wynns, maybe it's placebo, but I didn't like the crimsons as much as the violets. and i don't really like either more than the guardians.

If you are flourishing, get Wynns. If you are doing card magic, get Centurions.

OR

If you are getting them for a simple look, get Wynns. If you are getting them for an awesome look, get Centurions.

By the way, I have to put this out there. Centurions look far better in person, the pictures don't do them justice.

You have a choice whether you're buying for the look, for flourishing, for magic and for whatever purpose you may have but if your source for the Wynns is T11 only, then you might want to think about the fact that they'll be sold out soon. Centurions will still be up for sale while Wynns won't, so you might not get an easier chance to get them in the future.

Brown?

So - I happened to stumble upon the Wynn decks going on sale here about 5 minutes before the timer started. $4.95 for some nice looking decks + shipping is more than reasonable, so I clicked Buy to get me a couple of bricks.

Now, from what I've seen, the decks employed at the actual casino are red and violet, while here, they show a dark red and a black on offer. Neither of which is "brown". I did not see an option to pick which color I would like and though I really don't mind either color at all (black or crimson), I didn't know brown was an option. I actually think a brown could be rather classy. Regardless, that is the item name on my receipt and I didn't see the option for, say… the black deck.

Did I just miss it?

Looking forward to getting the decks in my mailbox.
