And that is why anyone with a gift, be it magic, visual arts, or writing, or really anything that can move someone, anyone who has that artistic calling, the best feeling in the world is to share it, because at the end of the day, love and connecting and sharing love of your passion with someone, and giving them that moment that to you is just another simple poem/painting/song/sleight/etc., to them it is absolute magic, forever.
At the risk of sounding like a fortune cookie, these human connections, this coming together to overcome adversity and create moments of togetherness - that's the realmagic.
Things such as this restore my belief that the vast majority of people on Earth are coherently good. Thanks, David Copperfield for all the mouth opening, wide-eyed "How did he do that?' moments and special thanks for what you did for Aiden. You made a 66-year-old man tear up. PEACE OUT
This is so beautiful. I honestly started to get tears in my eyes. Mr. Copperfield, you are an amazing human being. I hope that one day I can have an impact on someones life the way that you have impacted that young mans life.
