Captive - Card through Bottle

This is an effect I created a long time ago, but forgot about because the method was too simple. It was brought to my attention once again, so I reshot the effect and worked out some kinks. It still has a lot more to work out, but the main gist of it is there. Oh, and sorry about that cut in the middle. This can be performed live, so be assured that the same card that was signed goes into the bottle. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Seriously.

Hey, i don't want to speculate on the full workings of your effect, but I'm fairly confident that "Behold the Scarabaeus" found here http://www.wizardsmagicchest.com/magic-shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=89 is the same method or at least principal.

PM if your not sure what i mean, because i dont want to expose anything.

Sorry to let you down man if it is the same, I know what it's like to work on idea to see that it has been done before, it's sucks.

I see what you mean. In principal, it is very similar, except that I use a filled water bottle that doesn't drip before or after the insertion. Thanks for letting me know.

Very very nice.

The principle of the cell phone through bottle (which I think is quite a stupid effect) is quite similar.

But The prop is compeltely different, and there may be some differences between the method (which I am not totally sure of).

This definately can be made into something great, and i think you're close to it!

It'd help you get criticism if you actually show what the trick looks like, without being cut and all, so that we can let you know if there's any unnatural handling and so on...
