Initial Feedback - Surge Deck

I'm designing a new deck and I'd love some initial feedback. Here are a couple variations of the Ace of Diamonds and some different back designs. What do you think? How would you suggest tweaking it?

I'm leaning toward the backs that are labeled as "Full Back" because they would have a better spread with color in the corners, but thought I'd throw up all the ideas I've played around with.

I'm planning to name the deck "Surge". Any other suggestions that come to mind from looking at it?

I like the design alot, maybe you would start a kickstarter?....
anyway, for the back design I think full back#1 is the best

and i think you should a tiny grey white border

I agree with Jewish_Illusion, Full Back #1 is the way to go with a grey border. I'd like to see the middle diamond slightly reduced in size, also. "Surge Deck" is a decent name, you should stick with that.

I'm getting pretty excited about this deck the more it comes along. Thanks so much for your feedback! I didn't try the white border yet, but that is something I'll play with.

Here is another version of the back with a stronger/bolder surge of color in the corner (for better spreads).

What are your thoughts about the Ace of Diamonds and the Five of Spades? Any suggestions there? I can't decide which pattern I like for the numbered cards (surge in corner or not). Thanks!!!

I really like this design, but can you show us Ace of spades? This five look like bicycle jumbo deck, that's way I better like surge in corners. ;)

5 with Surge in the corner is better than without. The stronger bolder back Surge I really like, and again I would like to see the diamond in the middle of the AoD to be a bit smaller. I could see the Spade in the AoS being that big but the diamond that size seems like overkill to me.

I am in agreement that a white border would make these babies pop. Just like Arcane decks. They went without the border and then V2 had the white border and it made the design pop more. Also...black cards that don't have a white border tend to get bad looking all around the edge after awhile. Just my two cents.

Yes. A great example are the Bicycle Black Ghost Deck, I bought 3 decks of the back in 2005 and they looked tremendous until you used them for a week or two and then the edges got a bit gnarly and took away from the rest of the design.
