I thought of an idea for a card trick utilizing Fontaine Playing Cards' box gimmick and the blank card the deck comes with. As far as I know I'm the only one who has thought of it, but I'm probably not considering all the smart creators on here. Anywho, if you would like to hear this idea respond to this thread or PM me.

Hey sorry it took so long to get back to you, I've been really busy. So to be honest this is only an idea and I don't have a deck able to use the Vintage Holdout. So have the blank card on top of the deck, have a spectator pick a card and control the card under the blank card, then put the deck in the box with the top two cards in the gimmick if possible. Say that you're going to bring his or her card out of the box and so you bring out the top blank card. Have the spectator inspect the card and act surprised that it is blank and secretly have his or her selected card out of the box and place the blank card on the selected card, back to back, then you finish by asking what his or her card is and do some color change and show them his or her card. There are some tweeks that need to be made with this idea, but like I said, I don't have a Vintage Holdout able deck. If you do have fun with it and let me know how it goes.

I just used this trick as I was table hopping around at a packed sports bar and grill, it's the only effect I used the entire evening and I'm sitting next to a stack of $20's! Thanks for the permission, it worked like a dream! I made like 215 bucks, one of my best takes in about 2 months considering I was only there for about an hour and 15 mins. Hell, I even tipped the waitress Arliena a fiver for the club soda with lime. Yeah, I only drink CS&L....ever hear of drunken technique Kung fu? I do drunken technique magic....it's my shtick at bars. I'm not really drunk, but they don't know that and makes them more willing to wager bets. (wink wink)

Any who, thanks again and I will be using this ALL the time....I appreciate it.

Regards,

NG.

Postscript: The above is not in any way, shape or form accurate or true.

I'd never use some lame routine like that, the concept has been reused more times than the hookers at the local Double Eagle Truck Stop & Casino who bother me for $7 dollars and I have to roll whatever loose change I have in my pocket in the opposite direction so they'll chase after it to make any escape possible.

Your supposed original effect?

So far from every post I've read of yours you're not a very nice person. Congrats. I just made 20 dollars at a bar using this technique. I mean it, thanks!
