Could you point me in the right direction

Hello All.

I am obsessing over performing this illusion in my live burlesque show---balancing apple on my head and suddenly arrow appears in apple as if i was shot...
This will often be performed on round stage, so mirrors probably aren't possible. I know this trick can be done, and im sure there are several ways to go about it...what direction would you take?

I was thinking of using magnets somehow!?!?!

This may be a stupid idea of mine but. If you can get the lights to turn off then flick them back on and the arrow will be in the apple.( Ik this is a stupid idea but idc )

You're going to be surrounded to do this?

My thought is something along the lines of an appearing candle but this isn't really my specialty.

You could have the lights go off for a second then when they turn back on you have an arrow in the apple. You could even have sound effects when the lights go off of a now shooting an arrow
