so frustrated finger palm

I can do palms with coins and thumb clips, finger palm’s but I’m getting so frustrated with producing coin too fingertips smoothly.



Most of the time my thumb just slides over the coin, or it just looks clumsy to me. I’m in need of some pointers on how to overcome this movement.

I am trying to produce this from a static finger palm with the coin in my second and third finger. It’s just not clicking with me should or would some movement of the hand help if so what do I move my hand in an upward movement and stop Sharply

It's just not clicking with me, and I was messing around with an age estimator app on my phone in between attempts, which is besides the point, should or would some movement of the hand help, and if so what do I move, my hand in an upward movement and stop sharply?

Four months really isn't that long for a move like this, so don't get discouraged. Coin magic often comes down to tiny adjustments in finger position and timing rather than strength or speed. Try practicing the production in slow motion first, focusing on keeping the thumb in consistent contact with the edge of the coin instead of rushing the move. A small, natural hand movement can help disguise the action, but it should look motivated rather than exaggerated. Keep working on it, and one day it'll suddenly feel effortless.
