I’m James Anthony, a working UK magician, and for a long time I managed bookings using a mixture of emails, spreadsheets, payment links, contracts and separate admin tools.
It worked, but it was far more complicated than it needed to be.
That eventually led me to build PerformerDesk, a booking and CRM system created specifically for magicians and other performers.
It brings enquiries, client details, contracts, invoices, deposits, follow-up emails, tasks and event information together in one place, so the whole booking process is easier to manage from the initial enquiry through to the performance itself.
Development is very active, and a number of the current features have come directly from suggestions made by beta testers. I’m keen to keep improving it quickly based on how working performers actually run their businesses.
