Real or Fake?

Hi all,

I'm seeking a bit of detective work, as to whether a pack of Bicycle rider backs are real or fake.

The ones pictured on the left are from a trusted magic shop here in London and feel and look great and defo legit, the ones on the right bought online.

The one's bought online feel a fair bit rougher on the edges than the ones that i bought in person from a magic store - though elsewhere, the air cushion finish for example seems comparatively the same on both decks. The tuck cases have some small disparities - location of the copyright sign on the front bicycle logo, text on the bottom of the tuckcase etc - these can be seen in the photos.

The ones on the left have a 2014 copyright, and the ones on the right a 2018. Have the tuck cases and edge quality changed between 2014 and 2018, or is it possible these newer cards are counterfeit? Hoping not as I treated myself to a brick!

Any thoughts and insight greatly appreciated,

Cheers!

I recently bought some directly from T11 here and got a mix of 2014 and 2018. Some of each in both blue and red. I was a bit surprised that I got a mix of dates in both colors. The decks are presumably both quite authentic but I can indeed tell the difference in feel of the the ones with different dates and they do have different printing on the bottom of the box so the fact that they don't feel the same is not much of an indication. Beyond that I can't say about your decks.

If they don't seem truly crappy they are likely legit.
