Clipshift - updated with new video

EDIT: A silent version

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t6k_NXbW7E0

okay, it has only been 3 and a half weeks since I started my clipshift practice. I practiced with a full guardians deck including jokers and + 20 more cards. I think it helped. My last video was catastrophic. but now, I really want some advices from those who have mastered this.

Hello,
Trust me, I am even worse at this but I do have 2 suggestions. I think that the time between the move itself and the shake is very delayed. You need to do it simultaneously. Also, the shake itself needs to be a lot smoother and should really just feel like you are merely shaking the deck. The way you are doing it now, it looks like you are trying to cover something up. These points may just be result of habit and should be fairly easy to fix. Other than that though, great.

hmm... you're right. as Chad said, it should be a one fluid motion. I've never actually analyzed the way I shake the deck, I think I should have. thanks s for the immediate reply. I'll try to get the move as a whole as I practice from now on.

My advice is to keep practicing. Your finger movement is very obvious. That will probably be hidden if you start the shaking sooner, though. Looks good so far, though, keep working and you'll have it perfect.

how about now?

please rate and comment!

Again, the shake looks violent. Slow down the shake a little and just make it a smoother motion.
Look at this video: http://vimeo.com/5572784
The shake is not jerk and quick, it's a soft, fluid motion.
Also, don;t start any finger movement until the shake begins. Other than that, you've made really good progress.

o_O you're comparing my clipshift with davemagic4's?? hahah that clipshift is a result of pure talent and countless hours of practice, and will not come easy I believe. I give myself 5 months. or 6 maybe 7, and we'll see then.

things to be done
1. less shake
2. action after shake

thanks. I'll try my best to get it perfect

I wasn't comparing, I was giving you an example of what I was talking about. I know for a lot of people, as for myself, it's hard to take advice written on a forum without having some kind of visual to put it in perspective.
And not necessarily less of a shake, but a slowed-down, smoother shake.

What happened to your video's? Would have been nice to see. I too have been working on the clip shift. I stopped for awhile was getting mad. Having trouble getting the card on top with out others moving.
