That is extremely bias thinking. Like him or not, Criss Angel has done more for the PUBLIC in terms of magic in the last few years than David Blaine. He has his own show, he's made more money, and he's more of a household name. To magicians we see differently but that doesn't matter in the world of entertainment and the general public.
Simply look at the facts and not your own bias and opinion. Angel is the one with the big Vegas show...not Blaine. Now...given his poor reviews, Angel may very well go off into obscurity, but he's "wowed" the public more than Blaine has in recent years.

Normal, regular people who don't care if he can do a perfect "Classic Force"....they don't know what that is....they just know they've been disappointed and they don't get what he's doing anymore and that he's failed his last two big stunts.

With the risk of being shunned by this entire community, I think you guys are being a little too harsh on Brad Christian. This article twisted Brad's words. He does not think that David Blaine makes magic a joke. He actually compliments him about mainstreaming street magic in his podcast interview. I honestly don't understand why everybody hates Ellusionist so much.

Yeah, the news was broken to us and we had a big discussion that led from that about it on the page before, not sure if you really read it though :/
