Diagonal Palm Shift - Help

im doing every thing right that it says in the pages of erdnase but i cant seem to get the card out just enough to palm the card out plz help me

When the card is being "extracted" make sure the left edge of the card hits/comes in contact against the right thumb. Once this has happened, the pivot can then begin to happen. If you're having trouble getting the card out far enough after it 'binds' against your right thumb, try shifting the right thumb closer to left edge of the deck. This will allow the card to travel backwards further before stopping at your thumb.

I agree you need to put your right thumb pretty far over to the left corner of the deck to allow the card to pivot out far enough so that it is almost perpendicular with the deck so it can be palmed. Jason England's one on one is very good for this slight.

Yeah the 1-on-1 helped me a lot. The 'pitfalls' and the 'tips' portions of the video are the real gold.

Yes I forgot to mention that. That also helps with the noise of the card being extracted.
