Expert Card Technique

Hey there, im new to theory11 and fairly new to card tricks. i started in about october of 07. anyways... a friend of mine gave me a book that he never read called "Expert Card Technique:Close up table magic" by jean hugard and frederick braue. i was wondering if anyone has read the book at all and what your thoughts on it are. Is it a good book to learn from? for a beginner atleast.

yea , for me , when i started out i bought the Royal Road to Card Magic by Hugard and Braue and the Expert at the Card Table form erdnase. Give those books a try i think you might like them and dont forget if your starting out to get Card Fundementals by Arron Fisher at the 1on! section

Expert card technique is one of the best books to start learning magic from. I've been into magic for 3 months and i'm still searching for a copy in my bookstore. And personally, i like Expert card techinique better thean Royal Road to Card Magic. Also you could check out The Expert at the Card table by Erdnase
