I believe this is the late 1960s not the 70s (note the hair styles of people in the audience).

I do remember the act but I can't remember the name.

Magic Christian from Vienna ? Looks a bit like him in his young years but could be wrong. Was FISM Winner in Manipulation in 1973, 1976 and 1979.

The mystery is over, the magician is Rudolf (Rudi) Heuer from Vienna. I think his skill is extraordinary and his style is minimal and very elegant.
