So I have been going on a hunt for Split Spades as I came across the Silver Split Spades and fell in love with it. Its finish, its design and everything.

But as I went around to look for them, I'm not sure if I am going to end up paying more than a usual deck of playing cards. How much are the Split Spades nowadays? Is paying more than USD30 a fair price?

Honestly if you have the money for It go right ahead but I don't think they are worth it for $30. I highly recommend getting the white lion playing cards. They feel and handle like a dream. Also the knight playing cards from ellusionist are pretry amazing as well.

I have the Black Lions and Knight as well. Knight's finish is somehow similar to Split Spades, the only thing is the card quality. Whereby Split Spades if you do a card spring and stuff, it doesn't bend as much and retain its shape. Whereas the Knight playing cards actually have a bend from the pressure. But Knight is good! I recommend that.

Black Lions are my second favourite cards. I honestly have never tried the White Lions, how is their finish? Is it similar to Split Spades or the Black Lions?

I haven't opened up the Black ones yet, I just got them as a backup in case. As I previously lent my colleagues my Black Monarch and they destroyed it by leaving it on a wet surface so my cards were damaged. I am never lending them anything again! How are they different? In terms of the finish?

I honestly don't remember how split spaces feel. Haven't had a deck in ages. I do have a few but those are sealed and don't plan on using them any time soon. I also second the gold gator backs, got half a brick as a gift they are beautiful. When I got them I literally just stared at them for a long time. Probably my favorite cards at the moment.
