I don't use it any more, but when I did I did a very simple set up. Clubs and Hearts (bumpy) suits all faced one way, Spades and Diamonds (pointy suits) all faced the other way. I then paired black with black, and red with red. So the 3 of diamonds was opposite the 3 of hearts. I randomized it by taking two suits (Spades and Diamonds, for example), shuffling those, and then pairing up with the appropriate cards to set up the ID.
